Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 28, 2026 Effective date: May 28, 2026
Tallify’s community is here to help every member feel supported on their growth journey. These guidelines explain what’s welcome, what’s not, and how moderation works. By posting, commenting, or liking in the community, you agree to follow these rules.
If you see a post that breaks these rules, please tap the three-dot menu and report it. Reported posts are hidden from your feed immediately, and our team reviews reports as quickly as we can.
Questions? Email [email protected].
1. Our values
- Supportive. Everyone is somewhere on their journey. Lift others up.
- Honest. Share what’s working for you, but don’t pretend guesses are facts.
- Respectful. Disagreement is fine. Personal attacks are not.
- Safe. We protect every member, especially younger users.
2. What’s welcome
- Progress updates and wins (big or small).
- Questions about meals, workouts, sleep, supplements, posture, or the app itself.
- Tips that have worked for you, clearly labeled as your personal experience.
- Encouragement and supportive replies to other members.
- Constructive feedback for us about the app.
3. What’s not allowed
The following content will be removed, and repeat offenders will be banned.
3.1 Harassment, hate, and threats
- Personal attacks, insults, or threats against any member.
- Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any similar characteristic.
- Content that encourages, glorifies, or incites violence against any person or group.
- Doxxing — posting another person’s phone number, home address, workplace, or other private information without consent.
3.2 Sexual content
- Nudity, sexually explicit content, or pornographic material of any kind.
- Sexually suggestive comments directed at or about another member.
- Anything sexual involving minors. This will be reported to law enforcement.
3.3 Medical misinformation and dangerous advice
Tallify is used by people as young as 13. Posts that put members at risk will be removed.
- Claims that contradict the app’s core health principles in a way that could cause harm (for example, encouraging starvation, extreme calorie restriction, dangerous supplement doses, or unverified “growth hacks”).
- Recommending prescription-only medication, hormones, or injections.
- Content that promotes or glorifies eating disorders, self-harm, or suicide.
This does not ban general discussion of supplements, diet, or exercise approaches. What we remove is advice that is unsafe, false, or outside mainstream consensus in a way that could hurt a 13-year-old reading it.
3.4 Scams, spam, and promotions
- Selling products, services, coaching, or personal consultations.
- Referral links, affiliate links, or promo codes.
- Cryptocurrency or investment pitches.
- Multi-level marketing recruitment.
- Repetitive posts, copy-paste content, or off-topic spam.
3.5 Illegal content
- Content that violates any applicable law.
- Discussion or promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, or activity.
- Copyright or trademark infringement (for example, reposting someone else’s paid content without permission).
3.6 Impersonation and fake accounts
- Do not pretend to be another person, a celebrity, a doctor, a Tallify employee, or any brand.
- Do not claim medical, legal, or professional credentials you do not have.
3.7 Personal information
- Do not share your own phone number, home address, email, or financial information in a public post — it exposes you to strangers.
- Never ask another member for these details publicly.
3.8 Off-topic content
The Tallify community is focused on growth, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and related topics. Posts about politics, religion, or unrelated news may be removed to keep the feed supportive and on-topic.
4. How moderation works
4.1 Automated checks
Some obvious violations (certain slurs, scam domains, excessive shouting) are blocked before the post is even submitted. You’ll see a message explaining the block.
4.2 User reports
Every post and comment has a three-dot menu. Tap it to:
- Report — choose a reason (Harassment, Spam, Inappropriate content, Medical misinformation, Other). The post is hidden from your view immediately and is queued for review.
- Block user — hide all posts and comments from that member in your view.
4.3 Review
Reported content is hidden from your feed immediately, and your report is recorded for our team to review. Based on the report, the content may be:
- Left in place if it does not violate these guidelines.
- Removed, with a notice to the author.
- Escalated to a full account review if the violation is severe or part of a pattern.
4.4 Consequences
| Severity | What happens |
|---|---|
| Minor, first time | The post is removed. The author gets a warning. |
| Repeat violations | A temporary suspension from posting (7 days). |
| Serious violations (harassment campaigns, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors) | Immediate account termination, and where required, a report to law enforcement. |
If your content is removed and you disagree with the decision, you can appeal — see Section 6.

For urgent safety issues
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then, if the situation involves Tallify, email [email protected] with the word URGENT in the subject line and as much detail as you can share.
6. Appeals
If your post was removed or your account was suspended and you believe it was a mistake, you can appeal.
Email [email protected] with:
- Your username

We will review appeals and respond within 5 business days. We will not disclose who reported you.
7. Privacy when posting
Posts you share are visible to other Tallify users. Do not share anything in the community that you would not want to be publicly associated with your Tallify username. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
8. Changes to these guidelines
As the community grows, we may update these guidelines. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the community after updates means you accept the new guidelines.
